An exhibition of Balodne Art school “Noah’s ark”

Paintings by students of Baldone Arts School

From June 30, the Art Center “NOASS” displays an exhibition of students’ works of the Baldone Art School, which gathered both pets and jungle inhabitants in the basement galleries of Center. The content of the exhibition is reminiscent of respect for nature and the environment in which we live.

Emīlija Graustiņa “Chameleon”
The fact that the destruction of the human race continues: Diversity and survival of the species are endangered by climate change, pollution, intensive agriculture, reckless use of natural resources and other conditions. Therefore, the students of the art school, asks the question is: “Isn’t it time to make a new Noah’s Ark?”

Sofija Matlahova “The look”
The works are made under the guidance of teacher Eva Muzikante. In a way each young artist has become a savior – a Noah of today, painting a representative of a particular fauna and putting
it on the deck of the Art Center.
