Culture and Art Project Noass next residency program participant is the Brazilian video and photography artist Miro Soares. Artist arrived in Riga in the middle of January and will take part in residency program till the end of February. During his stay in Riga artist plans to create new photo and video works, which will be displayed at Riga Art Space education hall.

Miro Soares was born in Brazil, but now mainly works in Paris. He got his master’s degree in Art and Digital Media in Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he continues his doctorate studies. He has held solo exhibitions in Brazil, Finland and Norway as well as group shows in Brazil, Spain, France, Norway, Estonia, the Netherlands, Greece and China. In his artistic work Miro Soares uses photography, video and sounds to crate video installations and films.
