[EN]CLOSURE

12.06. – 27.06. on floating art galleries BETANOVUSS and NOASS will be a video art exhibition [EN]CLOSURE. Exhibition will be open from Tuesdays till Sundays from 12 am – 7 pm. Entrance – free.

Authors of exhibition are Eva Olsson and Jonas Nilsson – a Swedish artist couple who works with contemporary art there moving image and animation are their major way of expression. From time to time they work collaboratively to create new video works.

Eva’s work is philosophical reflections on everyday life and social issues in the modern western world. She is reconstructing familiar situations to create new insights to become short animations.

Jonas is currently interested in issues surrounding the stressful and high tempo the western way of life and increasing amounts of time and money spent by individuals on becoming successful, and the consequences of such achievements.

Eva and Jonas last year were chosen for participating in NOASS residencies and this exhibition is a logical follow-up after their time in Riga.
