Part 2 – Face Values

This second part of the NOASS Artist in Residency project is an exhibition of works completed during the 2 month residency at Andrejsala in Riga. The exhibition features portraits of native Latvian’s and other people connected to the NOASS project.
Gary Wornell (Canada/Finland) has been using his time in Riga to explore new hand prepared coatings for special papers and new techniques for printing. The workshops held during the residency attracted professionals and students from all creative disciplines.
The new works are created using the new 9900 Epson Large Format inkjet printer with HDR pigment ink on fine Japanese caligraphic papers. The exhibition is open daily from 11 am to 6pm at the NOASS foating art gallery on A.B. Dambis until September 15th.
The exhibition will be closed during the ‘White Nights’ arts forum in Riga, but open all other times until the 15th September.
