IV SEASON AT NAIVE ART MUSEUM OF LATVIA
Sticking to this year’s slogan of International Museum Day „So where were you?” dedicated to the traveling The Naive Art museum of Latvia starts it’s season with personal exhibition of artist Nina Abizova. It is called „Ieriki-Riga-Jurmala” and in the role of exhibition curator – artist Ingrida Zabere. Visitors are welcomed to take a look at Nina Abizova’s life that has been full of flowers, trees, clouds, birds, snowflakes and rainbows instead of common children toys. Her paintings radiate freedom, easiness and dareness.

Journey continues with new and unseen personal exhibition dedicated to 101st birthday of great artist Nikolajs Sturis. His paintings reflects thoughts about meaning of life, interests and different events that has happened in his life. Visitors are going to have possibility to travel through time and have a look at the time when people spent their rough lifes in Siberia and how they later get back to their simple and beautiful life in Latvia.

This year new base-exposition is also prepared and 2 of the last season’s exhibitions – Irina Pilke „Little Bird’s Diary” and Daina Kucere „Citizens” still live’s in The Naive Art museum of Latvia. Legendary DJ Snobo a.k.a. Gosh from Yaputhma is going to play in grand openning of this season so The Naive Art museum of Latvia will be full of great ambient, modern classical, sound-design, cinematic, post-everything sounds.
